easy peasy and fast :
cut a heart-shaped stencil the size you want
sit it on top of scrapbooking paper
fill in the heart with buttons (liberally coating your fingers as you go)

Hi Catherine, I don’t think spray glue would work so well. Tacky craft glue (like a strong pva) is ideal. Easy to use and wash up in water!
