and ‘making shop samples’ (that’s what i call it when i can’t keep my hands off the new stock and just have to make something with it!)…
and i’ve been thinking a LOT about twelve by twelve.
there was great excitement at Houston as nine twelves met and hosted our exhibition. sadly three of us couldn’t get there but we were there in the form of cardboard cutouts! apparently my cardboard face had a great time at dinner and even had a margarita (my first one ever)!
we have a new direction for 2012 and in keeping with that Gerrie has announced our first theme, “Metamorphosis”. my brain is whirring…and maybe evolving?

Really???? You’ve never had a margarita? Well we need to fix that!
No, never! I can see me drinking about half of it and falling off my chair!
I love that photo for your ad – makes me want to pull out the crafting supplies! Just thought I’d say hello from another Townsville local, I spotted your store last time I visited Studio2.
Hi Anna
Nice to meet you! (did we meet already at Ephemera in the Mist??) Your website is beautiful!
I love the new look of your blog, and the margaritas are always flowing in California!
Sounds good, Karen! I’ll get there one day
Yes indeed, California is the best place for margaritas. I even didn’t know what it was before moving there!
Love this new ad.
does that mean you didn’t make it to huoston???
xo
That is the most gorgeous blanket! Would you share your yarn sources?
Blessings,
G
Yes, of course! It’s Noro silk garden lite. I’m using lots of different colourways. Every time a new colour arrives in the shop, I pinch a ball or two
