We have some super talented designers in Australia. And, best of all, they are often really grouse chicks that we all want to be friends with.
Jodie is one of the very best. She not only makes incredible things that you wish you had thought of first but she is friendly and lovely and an all-round Top Sheila.
I bought some of Jodie’s patterns for the shop and she asked if I would like a sample to go with them. Being incredibly lazy (and thinking of all the samples I need to make) of course I said, “You bet! Yes, please!” Today the patterns and the doll arrived in the post and guess what? Jodie GAVE me the doll!
I. Own. A. Jodie Carlelton. Kinder Girl.

You don’t need to worry about her, Jodie. She is very happy and is already the centre of everyone’s attention…

Darn it! Why didn’t it arrive yesterday when I was there! Now I’ll just have to come all the way back to the shop for a cuddle. That is assuming you’ll share her…

What Peta said: Now all I can think is what does Jodie have to do with infertile friends and pregnancy?
